Dar Al-Handasah is a renowned consultancy firm specializing in Architecture, Engineering, Planning, and Environmental Design.

We are seeking an Electrical Designer to join our dynamic team. As an Electrical Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing prestige projects and will coordinate closely with Architects, Engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize the project design and resolve technical issues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing various types of facilities including commercial, institutional, industrial, residential, office buildings, and similar infrastructure projects
  • Preparing reliable Electrical designs and Tender/Construction Drawings and Documents/Specification for MV/LV Power supply along with single line diagrams, LV distribution network, Earthing systems and Lightning protection, Lighting and small power distribution, Emergency power supply and associated distribution network

You will also collaborate with project teams to develop parametric models and computational workflows using scripting languages as Grasshopper/Rhino, Dynamo/Revit, Python, or similar tools to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and facilitate design iteration.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Proven experience as electrical designer (5-15 years)
  • Strong understanding of design principles, construction techniques, and building systems
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Creative thinking and a passion for pushing the boundaries of design through computational innovation
