About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Engineer/Tech Lead to lead our team of engineers in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale systems for global clients. With offices in Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Jakarta, UAE, Riyadh, Philippines, and Florida, we cater to global organizations across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of 3-5 junior engineers, guiding them through the development process and fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Design, develop, and maintain complex, low-latency client-facing applications using Java and Spring Boot, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Architect and implement microservices-based solutions for enterprise-scale systems, utilizing expertise in system design, architecture, and engineering.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications, driving alignment and commitment to project goals.
  • Evaluate designs and code to ensure compliance with specifications and meet the highest standards of software quality, leveraging experience with coding standards and best practices.
  • Perform code reviews, identify and fix bugs, and improve code quality, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
  • Develop and maintain databases using MySQL, ensuring performance, security, and scalability, and applying expertise in database administration and management.
  • Apply multithreading techniques to enhance the application's performance, optimizing resource utilization and improving overall efficiency.
  • Work with Unix/Linux systems as part of the development and deployment process, leveraging expertise in operating system administration and troubleshooting.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure alignment on project goals, driving transparency, and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing changes to drive innovation and excellence.

Requirements
  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, with expertise in application development, testing, and deployment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
  • Ability to clearly express design ideas and technical concepts, with excellent presentation and documentation skills.
  • Experience working on Internet-based B2B/B2C/SaaS products is a plus, with expertise in system architecture, engineering, and development.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team of junior engineers effectively, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive career growth and development.

Compensation and Benefits
