Job Description

The primary objective of the Embedded Software Engineer is to develop and implement algorithms that facilitate support for devices equipped with Non-Volatile memories.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing programming algorithms for Non-Volatile memory devices.
  • Updating existing algorithms in response to new specification changes from semiconductor manufacturers.
  • Analyzing support requests to assess feasibility and identify all necessary electrical and software requirements.
  • Designing and releasing Socket Module adapter boards.
  • Evaluating incoming requests for support of devices.
  • Applying standard engineering techniques and leveraging AI to complete device support engineering tasks.
  • Collaborating with QA and the software team on unique testing requirements.
  • Working with Technical Support on issues or questions related to Device Support.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving problems reported by QA or customers.
Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
  • Proficiency in C/C++/Assembly languages and Python.
  • Ability to leverage AI for research, coding, and troubleshooting problems.
  • Familiarity with EPROM, Flash, Microcontrollers, and PLDs.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols SPI, I2C, UART, SWD, JTAG.
  • Understanding of signal integrity, ground bounce, power supply noise, etc.
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently or in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
