Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support and strategic guidance to our business. This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled and experienced in-house lawyer to join our team and play a key role in shaping our legal strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert legal advice on commercial, employment, intellectual property, data privacy, ethics, compliance, and generative artificial intelligence matters.
  • Manage and oversee litigation and arbitration matters, including civil, criminal, labour, property, and commercial disputes.
  • Draft, negotiate, and advise on medium to high complexity commercial agreements, ensuring the most advantageous legal and commercial terms for the organization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure seamless delivery of legal services and timely resolution of complex issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry developments, providing counsel on emerging trends and best practices.
Requirements:
  • LL.B with 6-8 years post-qualification experience as an in-house lawyer and/or in law firms.
  • Strong background in commercial law, employment law, and data privacy.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple, often interrelated, legal matters in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, results-driven environment.
