Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all core network nodes deployed at the location. This includes hardware and software maintenance of Core nodes like MSS/MGW/GCS/GMGW of Nokia and Ericsson, UDR HLR setup of Nokia, and Nokia VOLTE setup.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain 100% uptime of all core network nodes.
  • Manage MSS and MGW hardware and spare inventory.
  • Perform periodic system and external backups of core nodes.
  • Support and address customer complaints in a timely manner.
  • Integrate POI, BSC, and RNC with core nodes.
  • Configure and maintain core nodes on a daily basis.
  • Monitor and maintain network performance KPIs as per threshold.
  • Support new node integration and commissioning.
  • Handle care cases and operational emergencies.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with CS Core nodes of Nokia or Ericsson or both.
  • Thorough knowledge of call flow for 2G, 3G, 4G, and VOLTE.
  • Nokia UDR command line experience.
  • Nokia VOLTE nodes experience.
  • Knowledge of PACO and/or IP domain is an added benefit.
  • B.E in Electronics and Communication.
  • Sound technical skill set/knowledge of core network.
  • Team management experience.
