About the Role

We are seeking a skilled developer to design, develop, and deploy high-quality applications for LG WebOS and Samsung Tizen Smart TV platforms.

The ideal candidate will have experience with HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS, as well as knowledge of UI/UX design for TV platforms and remote navigation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop native applications for LG WebOS and Samsung Tizen Smart TVs using HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Integrate REST APIs for EPG, user authentication, and content delivery (HLS, MPEG-DASH).
  • Build intuitive UI components and ensure compatibility with TV remote interactions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement features like favorite channels, recommendation systems, and settings menus.
  • Debug and optimize applications for performance, security, and playback quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: 2-4 years in software development, with at least 1 year focused on LG WebOS and/or Samsung Tizen app development.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.
    • Hands-on experience with WebOS SDK, Tizen Studio, and IDEs.
    • Familiarity with REST API integration and streaming protocols.
    • Knowledge of UI/UX design for TV platforms and remote navigation.
