Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Structural Engineer to spearhead structural design, technical leadership, and project execution. This high-impact role demands exceptional analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Structural Analysis & Design: Develop and implement comprehensive structural designs from conceptual phases through completion, encompassing analysis and design of structures made from steel or aluminum, rigid bus bars, and concrete foundations for various equipment.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide visionary guidance, mentorship, and training to junior engineers, ensuring strict adherence to quality control standards and performing thorough reviews of production drawings and engineering documents.
  • Project Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop proposals, procurement packages, and drawings, preparing conceptual designs, material take-offs, and cost estimates that align with industry best practices.
  • Collaboration: Foster effective communication and coordination among multidisciplinary teams, both locally and globally, to ensure seamless design activities and support recruitment initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; a Master's degree may substitute for one year of experience.
  • Experience: A minimum of 8 years of related experience, with a focus on substation structures and equipment foundations; experience with U.S. and U.K. projects is strongly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of industry codes and standards like AISC, ACI, IBC, IEEE, BS, and EU; strong computer skills, including structural analysis programs like RISA 3D and Staad.Pro.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail; ability to create engaging presentations, compose detailed reports, and effectively manage workload.
