About the Financial Planning and Analysis Role

The role is pivotal in identifying cost-saving opportunities, driving operational efficiency, and supporting strategic decisions to ensure the company's financial health and growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Lead key finance projects, ensuring timely delivery, resource optimization, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current business processes and propose solutions to optimize workflows, reduce waste, and enhance productivity across the organization.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to support decision-making, including profitability analysis, variance analysis, and scenario planning.
  • Cost-Saving Initiatives: Identify and evaluate opportunities for cost reduction and process efficiency improvements.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyse financial, sales, and operational data to generate actionable insights for senior management.
  • Support Strategic Decisions: Provide analytical support to senior management in evaluating strategic options, mergers, acquisitions, or expansions.
Qualifications and Required Skills:
  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in business analysis, project management, or financial analysis within the manufacturing industry.
  • Technical Skills: Business Modelling & Analysis, Advanced Excel & Data Visualization Tools, Project Management Software Proficiency, Cost-Benefit Analysis, Business Process Optimization Techniques.
  • Behavioural Skills: Analytical Precision, Attention to Detail, Strategic Thinking, Data-Driven Decision Making, Problem-Solving Orientation, Influencing, Result Orientation, Time Management and Prioritization, Proactive Initiative & Continuous Improvement Mindset.
