Job Title: Airport Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Airport Operations Coordinator to join our team.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have previous work experience working on airport systems and applications for crew, ground, departure control, turnaround, baggage, and loading.

Key responsibilities include supporting DCS systems for reservations, passenger check-ins & boarding, baggage check-in, load management. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with Global Distribution Systems (GDS) and knowledge of automated baggage handling systems.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for creating incidents/problems using incident management & problem management tools, as well as monitoring and operating these systems.

Requirements:
  • Possess an International Air Transport Association (IATA) certification or a diploma in Travel and Tourism.
  • Hold a graduate degree in any stream and possess relevant travel experience.
  • Have a good understanding of the airline industry.
  • Availability to work in 24x7 shifts.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other standard desktop applications.
  • Strong analytical and research skills. Effective troubleshooting and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to achieve stringent service level agreements (SLAs).
