Senior Mortgage Loan Originator Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mortgage Loan Originator to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of originating mortgage loans in the US Home Loan market, with a focus on post-closing reviews and correspondent experience.

About the Role:

\
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including managing junior loan officers (JLs) and ensuring compliance with RESPA/TRID review and other federal, state, and industry regulations.\
  • Elevate customer service levels by assisting with application processes, overseeing mortgage loan closings, and completing post-closing requirements quickly.\
  • Develop coaching and training programs for new and existing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.\
  • Monitor and oversee the loan production pipeline to identify areas for improvement.\
  • Prepare and deliver action plans or correction actions when individual metrics are not met.\
  • Ensure ongoing communication of key initiatives, deliverables, and expectations across team members, peers, managers, and executive leadership.

Requirements:

\
  • Minimum 6-8 years of mortgage origination experience with a focus on post-closing reviews and correspondent experience in US Home Loan products.\
  • Working knowledge of mortgage industry regulations, including TRID guidelines.\
  • Management experience in human resources or as an operations manager is necessary.\
  • Exceptional communication and supervision skills, both verbal and written.\
  • Good organizational, math, and attention to detail skills.
