Job Title: Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer

At Partners Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and optimizing secure cloud services and environments with the highest levels of availability, security, automation, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain a multi-account AWS cloud infrastructure and relevant services using best practices and industry standards.
  • Deploy and manage configuration, monitor the health and performance of provisioned cloud infrastructure services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS cloud environments, applications, and deployments.
  • Support building and optimizing deployment pipelines applying agile methodologies, scalable architecture best practices, and rigid security standards throughout a continuous integration and continuous delivery process.
  • Participate and support the transition of existing on-premise infrastructure to AWS cloud services.
  • Conduct research and testing on new AWS features and solutions and propose improvements and enhancements.
  • Champion the further adoption of DevSecOps across IT teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Systems and/or Computer Science or related quantitative field.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Cloud DevOps Engineer, preferably in the financial industry and international setting (7+ years experience in a similar role).
  • Strong practical understanding of cloud architecture covering areas such as security, scalability, resilience, and cost.
  • Solid experience and proficiency in infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipeline tooling (Terraform, Gitlab).
  • Solid knowledge of cloud native development and serverless computing.
  • Solid knowledge of networking concepts.
  • Solid understanding and practical experience of SDLC processes and Agile methodologies as well as ITSM/ITIL.
  • Strong skills in personal organization, prioritization, project management, and complex problem solving.
  • Strong interpersonal skills who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to present and sell her/his ideas/projects to senior stakeholders.
  • Relevant Industry certifications would be advantageous (AWS, Terraform, Gitlab, etc.).
