Senior SAP RAR Specialist

A senior-level professional is sought after to spearhead the implementation and optimization of Revenue Accounting Rules in SAP. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and configuring revenue recognition solutions that meet clients' needs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Solution Design: Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and design bespoke SAP RAR solutions.
  • Configuration: Set up revenue recognition rules, accounting rules, and reporting in SAP RAR.
  • Testing: Develop test scripts and execute unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the solution meets client expectations.
  • Training and Documentation: Develop comprehensive training materials and provide end-user training on the use of SAP RAR; create documentation for system administrators and end-users.
  • Implementation: Lead the successful delivery of SAP RAR solutions, working closely with clients and project team members to ensure timely completion.
  • Troubleshooting: Resolve issues arising during implementation and provide support to clients during the go-live phase.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in revenue accounting and recognition in SAP.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP RAR configuration, customization, and data management.
  • Strong technical skills, including data import, validation, and analytics.
  • Expertise in compliance and governance, including accounting standards, audit trails, and security and authorization.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
