Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes and be able to drive improvements through process analysis, optimization, and implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Analysis and Optimization: Conduct thorough analyses of existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement, recommend changes, and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Engineering Drawings and Specifications: Review and validate engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Manufacturing Methods and Materials: Develop and implement knowledge of medical device regulations and execute gap assessments, manufacturing print reviews, and remediation activities.
  • Project Management: Apply project management skills to plan, schedule, and monitor project activities efficiently ensuring FTR & OTD excellence.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with global stakeholders across regions like category managers, sourcing, PM, and other cross-functional teams as per the project needs.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical/production engineering with a minimum of 9-12 years of relevant experience.
  • Technical Skills: Strong expertise in DFM&A principles and manufacturing methods for plastics, metals, and packaging components & systems.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Proven experience in analyzing project feasibility for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in CAD - Creo/SW and PLM/PDM tools (preferably Windchill).
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Solid understanding of project management methodologies, including planning, tracking, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Communication and Presentation: Strong verbal and presentation skills for effective collaboration with global teams.
