Compliance and Risk Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance and Risk Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing fieldwork and testing across various areas of laws, including Anti-Money Laundering, Privacy, Anti-Corruption, and Consumer Protection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Timely execution of fieldwork and testing of core responsibilities across all areas of laws
  • Design and implement an overall testing program with strong risk assessment skills
  • Regular dialogue and communication on progress and potential findings with the Manager Compliance Testing Team
  • Lead conversations with senior stakeholders during kickoffs, testing, and issue alignment discussions
  • Train and mentor colleagues in upskilling themselves with relevant knowledge and practices
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives to improve the delivery model and participate in presentations to senior leadership
  • Develop remediation plans to address findings and detect emerging regulatory risks

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in internal audit, regulatory compliance within the Big Four or in a bank/financial institution with preferably Anti-Money Laundering background
  • Good academic qualification with experience in compliance or legal with Anti-Money Laundering knowledge would be an added advantage
  • Chartered Accounts, CPA, CIA, ACAMS, MBA, and individuals with certifications in audit would be preferred
