**Job Title:** Data Scientist

  • A data-driven role where you will be working with data, analytics and AI to extract insights and build predictive models.
**About the Role:

As a data scientist, you will be working in our DS/AI Competency Center. Our team focuses on leveraging data, analytics, and artificial intelligence technologies to develop AI powered solutions using Exploratory Data Analysis, Statistical Modeling and Machine Learning, Model Deployment, and Integration as well as Model Monitoring and Maintenance.

We deliver business solutions using multiple AI techniques and tools. Our work involves extracting insights from data, building predictive models, and developing AI-powered solutions that drive business growth.

**Requirements:

Our ideal candidate has 5+ years of professional experience in data science and operations research, including 2+ years of experience in DS/Operations Research. They should have strong Python coding skills, including object-oriented programming concepts, and be familiar with machine learning libraries and basic SQL knowledge.

The candidate should also have experience working in cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure, and be familiar with optimization methodologies, including various optimization libraries (e.g., CPLEX, Gurobi, ortools, etc.). Additionally, they should have experience working in client-facing roles and be able to apply independent research, gather information, and give recommendations on how to solve problems of diverse scope.

Experience in CRISP-DM project delivery and Agile project management (like Scrum) is also required. The ideal candidate should be able to communicate complex ideas effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Other desirable qualifications include experience working with other IT roles (Data Engineer, AI Engineer, Business Intelligence-related), understanding and experience applying Data Science/Machine Learning methods to Supply Chain (Manufacturing, Transportation, Warehousing, Inventory or Sustainability), and a strong statistical/mathematical background.
