A highly skilled frontend engineer is sought to spearhead the development of innovative products, shaping user experiences that drive impact in a mission-driven environment.
- Lead frontend application development, architecture, and maintenance, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features quickly.
- Champion code quality, maintainability, and performance, ensuring seamless user journeys and outstanding user experiences.
- Mentor junior engineers, upholding development excellence through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Advocate for modern frontend best practices, emphasizing automated testing, accessibility, usability, and innovation in UI/UX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development of frontend applications using React.js and React Native.
- Designing and implementing efficient architectures for scalable and secure applications.
- Collaboration with backend engineers, designers, and product teams to integrate complex app state and RESTful APIs.
- Integrating UI frameworks like Material UI to enhance user interface and overall user experience.
- Implementing unit/automated testing and continuous integration (CI/CD) to ensure reliability and security.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in React.js and React Native app development.
- Expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Redux, and UI frameworks like Material UI.
- Strong background in unit/automated testing and continuous integration (CI/CD).
- Proven track record of optimizing performance and ensuring application security.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and managing complex app state.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and effective collaboration.
