Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive IT Manager to oversee and manage the IT infrastructure, systems, and security of our AI-focused development environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management within a software development or AI company, with expertise in both operational and strategic IT functions. This role requires leadership, technical proficiency, and a commitment to aligning IT initiatives with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day IT operations, ensuring seamless performance, stability, and security of all systems.
  • Manage IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, data storage, cloud platforms, and backup systems.
  • Design, implement, and enforce IT policies and procedures to maintain high levels of security and compliance.
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new technology solutions to enhance productivity and scalability.
  • Ensure optimal performance of databases, application environments, and network resources to support AI model training and development.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and conduct regular testing for business continuity.
  • Manage IT budgeting, resource allocation, and procurement for hardware, software, and services.
  • Handle trouble shooting and technical support for all office IT equipment, including laptops, desktops, printers, and networking devices.
  • Work closely with cybersecurity teams to monitor and mitigate risks, ensuring data protection and compliance.
  • Supervise IT team members, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT management, with at least 3 years in a software development or AI environment.
  • Proficient in network administration, cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and virtualization technologies.
  • Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of IT security protocols, firewalls, antivirus, and data protection methods.
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and management of development, testing, and production environments.
  • Proven experience leading IT teams, managing projects, and working cross-functionally with development teams.
  • ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or relevant cloud certifications.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address complex IT challenges effectively.

Estimated Salary: ₹2,500,000 - ₹4,000,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
