Job Title: Senior Performance Tester

Job Description:

As a key member of the engineering team, you will play an integral role in developing a comprehensive performance testing strategy. This includes translating performance requirements into scenarios to replicate production and designing, scripting, and executing load, stress, and scalability testing.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Maintain technical expertise in performance/load testing dictums.
  • Design and develop solutions for supporting Cloud (Azure DevOps) and CI/CD for Sev utilization.
  • Communicate effectively across multiple teams and external vendors when required.
  • Monitor server metrics using APM tools.
  • Participate in continuous improvement measures to increase effectiveness and efficiency of automation.
  • Innovate and implement solutions for industry standards.
  • Conduct analysis of business requirements, solution designs, process documentation for identifying feasible business-critical transactions.
  • Implement best performance test practices and standards as part of Enterprise solution.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of performance testing experience.
  • Min 5 years of experience with OpenText LoadRunner using protocols Citrix, RDP, Java, and performance testing mobile technologies and database.
  • Significant experience working with JMeter and APM tools including New Relic and Grafana.
  • Proven experience with SOAP Web Services and RESTful Web Services testing using Soap UI, Postman, and Swagger.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in performance testing principles, techniques, and standards.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software quality assurance (SQA) processes and practices.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in CI/CD tools and practices.
