Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional software engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing and developing new features for our web-based software applications.

Your primary objective will be to maintain and enhance existing features to ensure optimal performance and user experience. This includes testing and deploying code to ensure seamless integration and minimal downtime.

You will create back-end components using Ruby on Rails and maintain clean, efficient code. Additionally, you will integrate user-facing elements with robust front-end technologies.

One of your key responsibilities will be to ensure cross-platform optimization for mobile devices and desktop platforms. You will implement performance optimization techniques to ensure fast and responsive applications.

Requirements
  1. 3-5 years of experience in web-based software development.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  4. Experience with Ruby on Rails and ability to write clean Ruby code.
  5. Proficiency with code versioning tools like Bitbucket, Git, and Github.
  6. Familiarity with MVC, REST, and front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, and Bootstrap framework.
  7. Familiarity with database technology and SQL programming (we use MySQL).
  8. Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (we use Jira, Scrum).
  9. Proficient with Linux distributions like Ubuntu.
