Role and Responsibilities

  • Design and develop layouts for critical Custom/Memory/Analog or STDCELL circuits.
  • Perform layout verification, including LVS/DRC/quality check and documentation.
  • Deliver block-level layouts on time with acceptable quality.
  • Contribute to effective project management.
  • Communicate effectively with global and local engineering teams to ensure layout project success.

Qualification/Requirements

  • Completed Certificate/Diploma course in Analog/Custom Layout design from a reputable institute.
  • Proficient in Cadence VLE/VXL and Mentor Graphic Calibre DRC/LVS.
  • Strong understanding of Analog Layout fundamentals, including matching, electro-migration, latch-up, coupling, cross-talk, IR-drop, and active/passive parasitic devices.
  • Ability to understand design constraints and implement high-quality layouts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills in physical verification of custom layouts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
