Job Overview:

The Senior Data Engineer - Data Modeler is a pivotal role in designing and implementing data capture and transformation processes, as well as defining and governing data modeling/design standards, tools, best practices, and related development methodologies.

This position involves collaboration with the Data Management team to perform data extraction, analysis, cleansing, mapping, and profiling exercises using Informatica Analyst and other profiling tools. The candidate will also be involved in database design for operational data stores, working with DBAs and ETL Architects using Data Vault Modeling approach.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing and developing complex dimensional data models for analytics services
  • Working with various testing methodologies and user acceptance testing
  • Leading large teams and managing data modeling repository and process
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders, data owners, business analysts, and architects to design and develop next-generation data platforms

The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of data warehousing principles, architecture, and implementation in complex environments, as well as experience with hybrid data environments that leverage both distributed and relational database technologies to support analytics services.
