Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Patent Analyst to support Fortune 100 companies on various phases of IP Life cycle management. The successful candidate will work on projects related to Prior-art Searching, evidence-of-use, freedom-to-operate searches etc. in the Electronics, Electrical and Semiconductor domains.

About You

- At least one year of experience in IP services is required.
- A Master or Bachelors degree in Electronics, Electrical, VLSI, Power Electronics or any related field is necessary.
- Thorough knowledge of basic electronics and electrical circuits is essential.
- Proficient in performing invalidity, patentability, state of art, freedom to operate and evidence of use searches is crucial.
- Knowledge of Intellectual Property (IP) fundamentals and US Patent Law is vital.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and other tools that may be required for day-to-day work is necessary.

The Role

- Study an invention and conduct online searches to ascertain the novel aspect of the invention.
- Determine validity of a patent, includes studying patent prosecution history and patent infringement complaint document.
- Derive insights from patents and scientific literatures published in a technology domain of interest.
- Quality Assurance - Adherence and compliance to set quality standards ensuring customer requirement are met in full.
- Assist clients manage their patent portfolio and find solutions for the entire patent lifecycle.

We are a team of 15+ members reporting to Sr. Manager/ Director. The team primarily works on search projects related to electronics, electrical, semiconductor and physics domains. We comply with applicable laws and regulations governing non-discrimination in all locations.
