Job Description:

The Print Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the timely delivery of print projects and ensuring they meet client expectations.

  • Manage project expectations by understanding client needs and developing strategies to meet them.
  • Provide technical support and advice to minimize costs while maintaining quality prints.
  • Collaborate with artwork studios and printers to drive consistency across prints and ensure high-quality results.
  • Support the design phase through artwork process, reviewing and identifying potential risks.
  • Lead conversations with stakeholders during color assessment on print work, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Utilize strong project management skills to track project timelines and meet deadlines.
  • Manage color standards storage and coordinate courier arrangements as needed.
  • Take initiative and proactively resolve challenges that arise, fostering good relationships with stakeholders.

Key Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of progressive print production experience or an equivalent combination of education.
  • Client-facing experience and prior experience in Project/Account management are essential.
  • Familiarity with Color Management or Separation tools is necessary.
  • Strong knowledge in various print methods (offset, flexo, or gravure) is required.
  • Excellent analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and planning skills are necessary.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including analysis, interpretation, and reasoning.
  • Able to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers, colleagues, external clients, or vendors.
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Self-motivated with critical attention to details, deadlines, and reporting.
