Professional Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Automate REST APIs using Rest Assured and validate backend services.
- Implement and maintain BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
- Lead test planning, execution, and reporting for complex web applications.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Bamboo.
- Use Jira for defect tracking and GitHub for version control.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in test automation, with strong expertise in Cypress and Selenium.
- Proficiency in Java, SQL, and API testing.
- Experience with MongoDB, Snowflake, Maven, and Git.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and test lifecycle management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- ISTQB or equivalent QA certifications.
- Experience mentoring junior testers or leading small QA teams.
