Senior Python Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and APIs using Python and related frameworks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust solutions and contribute to the entire development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend applications using Python
  • Create RESTful APIs and microservices with FastAPI for efficient data exchange
  • Work with various databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and ClickHouse for data storage and retrieval
  • Develop and optimize Big Data pipelines for high-performance applications
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards
  • Optimize performance and troubleshoot application issues for smooth user experience
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure knowledge sharing and skill growth
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and QA teams to achieve project goals
  • Implement automated tests, unit testing, and ensure code quality through continuous integration and delivery
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and solution design for innovative product development
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose technical improvements to enhance system efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Python development with strong expertise
  • Proficiency in FastAPI framework for building scalable APIs
  • Strong experience with RESTful API development for efficient data exchange
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming principles for structured coding
  • Strong experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM tools for seamless data access
  • Hands-on experience with ClickHouse for analytics and large-scale data processing
  • Familiarity with Big Data concepts, pipelines, and optimization techniques for high-performance applications
  • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows for collaborative development
  • Experience with Docker and containerized applications for efficient deployment
  • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like Pytest or unittest for robust testing
  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus for scalability
  • Good problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills for efficient troubleshooting
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment for successful project execution
