About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Software Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will be responsible for identifying and addressing quality issues within our software applications.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software testing with a strong understanding of various phases and nuances of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). They must possess excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work effectively in a collaborative environment, and have a passion for delivering high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test plans, including risk assessments and test case design
  • Analyze user stories and requirements for validity and feasibility
  • Execute all levels of testing, including system, integration, and regression testing
  • Perform triage and root cause analysis on customer-reported defects
  • Monitor test progress and rebalance resources as required
Requirements
  • Any graduation with at least 3+ years of experience as a software tester in a reputed IT organization
  • Current or prior experience as a software tester in an established IT organization for at least 2 years
  • Demonstrated knowledge of banking domain
  • Willingness and ability to learn digital banking
  • Working/application-level knowledge of STLC phases and nuances
  • Ability to adhere to laid-out quality processes
  • Prior experience with waterfall model and Agile methodology (Scrum)
  • Able to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience with automation tools (Selenium/Cucumber) is advantageous
