BIM Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment to deliver high-quality results across residential, commercial, education, and retail projects.
  • Review 3D models created by consultants and contractors to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs using Navisworks Manage to identify potential issues early on.
  • Manage views, issues, and automated clashes in BIM Track Settings for Navisworks.
  • Publish interactive clash pinpoint displays in Navisworks models with sectioning filters to enhance visualization.
  • Synchronize clash status across multiple platforms.
  • Maintain model integrity through regular audits and reviews in Autodesk Revit.
  • Foster open communication and collaboration through weekly coordination meetings with project team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with personnel at all levels.
  • Expertise in BIM Track issue creation, Navisworks viewpoint creation, and proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks & AutoCAD, BIM360, BIM Track.
  • Strong knowledge of integrated features in BIM Track for Navisworks, construction processes, and procedures.
  • Advanced PC skills, specifically Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint).
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with 3+ years of relevant work experience and passion for BIM knowledge and construction technology.
