Job Title: Lead Reconciliation Specialist

Linedata is seeking an experienced Lead Reconciliation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation activities between client, admin, and prime broker data.

About the Role:
  • Reconcile discrepancies in cash, positions, OTE, and trades on a daily basis.
  • Research and resolve pending issues related to cash, positions, and trades.
  • Communicate with external sources, including clients and brokers, to ensure timely resolution of breaks.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers and prime brokers via phone and email to resolve queries.
  • Maintain adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and deliver results promptly to clients while escalating critical issues to reporting managers.
Requirements:
  • Must have:
    • MBA in finance with 3+ years of reconciliation experience.
    • Fund administrator or hedge fund operations experience is preferred.
  • Should know:
    • Product life cycle of exchange-traded and over-the-counter (OTC) products (TRS, CDS, IRS, and Equity SWAPS).
    • MS Office Excel functions and hands-on experience.
    • Able to write macros preferred.
    • Knowledge of account postings in general ledger required.
    • VPM or Geneva software skills are beneficial.
  • Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Accounting knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping.
  • Understanding of OTC products like TRS, CDS, IRS, and Equity Swaps.
  • Participation in user acceptance testing (UAT).
Compensation Package:

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000-$110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
