Project Leader

You will act as the single point of contact between stakeholders to ensure project objectives are delivered. Implementing a robust project management framework is crucial for successful corporate interior fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Framework Development: Develop and implement a tailored project management framework for corporate interior fit-out projects, focusing on effective project delivery.
  2. Budget Oversight: Monitor and control changes/variations to ensure projects are completed within budget and schedule while meeting client needs and business objectives.
  3. Collaboration and Coordination: Foster teamwork among project stakeholders, ensuring that project managers work cooperatively with client representatives throughout the process.
  4. Performance Management: Manage the design and project management/site delivery team's performance of delegated responsibilities, providing regular feedback and coaching.
  5. Negotiation and Coordination: Support in negotiation and coordination with vendors and business partners through the completion of projects, maintaining positive relationships and resolving conflicts effectively.
  6. Reporting Arrangements: Establish and prepare formal reporting arrangements on project progress for clients and stakeholders, providing transparent and timely updates.
Requirements:
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail and a process-driven approach, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of project delivery.
  • Quick Problem-Solving Skills: Exhibit quick problem-solving skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Experience: Possess a minimum of 4 years of experience in the building construction industry, with relevant experience in managing multiple corporate/workplace interior fit-out projects.
  • Relevant Experience: Have relevant experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources effectively.
  • Education: Hold a degree in Architecture/Civil or Mechanical Engineering/Construction management or a related discipline, demonstrating a strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
  • Knowledge: Possess knowledge of individual trades and subcontractors relevant to interior fit-outs, ensuring effective collaboration and coordination with stakeholders.
  • Team Management and Client-Facing Experience: Demonstrate excellent team management and client-facing experience, developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Tech-Savviness: Be tech-savvy and have experience in successfully adopting digital and technology initiatives, enhancing project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment without compromising on quality and customer satisfaction, prioritizing tasks and resources effectively.
