Job Description

You will be responsible for designing scalable APIs and services for our platform. This includes building secure and efficient backend services for real-time video/audio consultations and wellness tracking, optimizing databases for secure health records, doctor profiles, and product inventory, developing well-documented RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support mobile and web apps, implementing caching strategies and optimizing queries for high uptime, ensuring data privacy and HIPAA-compliant storage for patient health information, and collaborating with data scientists to integrate AI wellness assistants.

Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in backend development with strong expertise in Node.js and Python (FastAPI preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with SQL & NoSQL databases, proven track record in building production-grade APIs, familiarity with event-driven systems and message queues, and strong understanding of data security and healthcare compliance
  • Proficiency in Git and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
