Executive Cybersecurity Leadership Role

Cvent is a leading meetings, events, and hospitality technology provider with over 4,800 employees and ~22,000 customers worldwide.

As an experienced cybersecurity leader, you will provide regional, executive-level support for various programs and initiatives, as well as manage the day-to-day operations of the India Information Security team.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting global strategic leadership to maintain and implement a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborating with regional executive leadership to ensure adequate resourcing and support for the Information Security team operations and initiatives.
  • Providing executive-level support for regional security risk assessment and treatment activities, as well as security operations.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Leading and mentoring the Information Security team to foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and learning.
  • Maintaining alignment and operational consistency between the Global Information Security team and the Information Security team on information security policies, processes, and practices.
  • Fostering effective coordination and communication between Information Security teams and regional stakeholders and teams.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CCSP.
  • 15+ years of experience in information security, with at least 8 years in an information security leadership role and experience in various information security domains.
  • Strong technical knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
  • Solid understanding of security risk management methodologies and compliance frameworks.
