We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Deputy General Manager. This individual will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of our operations, including quality control, process improvement, and personnel management.

  • Meet EHS protocols and regulatory norms in force.
  • Ensure Quality Control of SCF products as per QC acceptance criteria and PDS.
  • Maintain KQI2/monthly rejection within targeted limits, conduct RCA, and implement corrective action.
  • Cost reduction under F5 project.
  • Maximise reclaim material consumption and monitor product performance.
  • Increase revenue by consuming plant Inventory of old redundant Finished Goods & raw materials.
  • Manage Product Data Management (PDM) of Castables & Raw Materials.
  • Quality Assurance of SCF products.
  • Visit Customer Sites to attend Customer Complaints and understand practical application of products.
  • Handle Third Party Inspections.
  • Conduct Trials for development of new products and improvement of existing products.
  • Improve Process Control to get consistent quality intermediate & final products.
  • Evaluate New Raw Material from existing/new suppliers received from SCM.
  • Administer SCF lab.
  • Upkeep and timely Calibration/AMC of all Lab Equipments.
  • Test and report Interlab and R&D samples.
  • Meet ISO norms and report daily testing results.
  • Maintain test records.
  • Maintain 5S standard in the workplace.
  • Knowledge on Factsage software on Thermodynamic model and simulation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Control with a background in Steel Casting Fluxes industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
