SAP Identity Management (IDM) Professionals Sought

Overview:

We are searching for SAP IDM experts to lead our team in delivering top-notch security and identity management solutions.

About the Role:

This role will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing SAP IDM systems across various projects and initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Design and configure SAP IDM systems to meet client needs, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  2. Develop and maintain complex workflows, business rules, and authorization models to achieve desired outcomes.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.
  4. Provide expert-level support and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and excellence in SAP IDM implementation.

Requirements:

  1. 10+ years of experience in SAP Security/IAM, with at least 3+ years focused on IAS/IPS.
  2. Hands-on expertise in SAP IAS (SSO, SAML 2.0, OAuth, OpenID Connect, MFA, federation).
  3. Practical experience in SAP IPS provisioning for S/4HANA Cloud and BTP applications.
  4. Deep understanding of SAP BTP security concepts – subaccounts, role collections, entitlements, trust setup.
  5. Experience with corporate identity providers (Azure AD, Okta, Ping Identity) integration.

Good to Have:

  1. Exposure to SAP GRC Access Control or SAP IDM for governance and role-based provisioning.
  2. Knowledge of certificate-based authentication, SCIM, and Zero Trust models.
  3. Experience in BTP multi-tenant and service-to-service authentication setups.
  4. Familiarity with authorization concepts in S/4HANA Cloud and BTP services.
