About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Support Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, experience with Azure Databricks, and excellent leadership skills.

The role involves managing support operations for applications and pipelines built on Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Azure Data Factory. You will oversee the monitoring and maintenance of Azure SQL databases and AKS deployments.

As a leader, you will mentor and guide a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and resolving complex issues. You will also drive effective communication with stakeholders and ensure root cause analysis is conducted for recurring incidents.

You will identify and implement improvements in support processes to enhance efficiency and reliability. Additionally, you will leverage automation tools to reduce manual intervention and streamline operations.

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Engineering:
    • Manage support operations for Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Azure Data Factory.
    • Oversee the monitoring and maintenance of Azure SQL databases and AKS deployments.

    • Mentor and guide a team of engineers.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong background in data engineering and experience with Azure Databricks.
