Role Summary:

As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of database systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform core MS SQL Server administration tasks.
  • Build high-availability and quality database systems depending on application roles.
  • Design and implement databases in accordance with end-users' information needs.
  • Ensure database security through encryption, data-in-transit protection, and secure connections between applications and databases.
  • Determine, enforce, and document database policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Regularly perform tests and evaluations to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity.
Requirements and Skills:
  • Proven working experience as a Database Administrator – MSSQL.
  • Primary skills on open-source DBs like MySQL/Postgres.
  • Hands-on experience with database standards and end-user applications.
  • Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding.
  • Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third-party tools.
