Job Title: Data Engineer

Job Description:

Deloitte India is hiring for professionals with 5+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data management techniques and the ability to design and implement complex ETL processes in a large-scale national level project.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain ETL processes for extracting data from various sources, transforming it into meaningful formats, and loading it into the data warehouse.

Design and implement scalable, high-performance ETL solutions that meet business requirements and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document data requirements, ensuring the ETL solutions align with business needs.

Requirements:

B.Tech/BE/MCA degree or equivalent experience.

Proven minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in ETL development with IBM Datastage, Watsonx.data, and expertise in SQL, scripting languages, and data modeling.

Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing complex ETL processes in a large-scale national level project.

Experience in design, development, monitoring, and testing of data pipelines using IBM Datastage and Watsonx.data.

Hands-on exposure in handling of structured/semi-structured/unstructured data using big data platform such as Hadoop/Spark/Kafka.

Proficiency in working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Desirable Qualifications:

Certifications in IBM ETL tools will be preferred.
