Application Packaging Specialist

Seeking an Application Packaging Specialist to support the preparation, testing, and release of software within customer environments. The successful candidate will ensure timely execution of application packaging processes while maintaining high-quality deliverables.

  • Develop and implement effective application packaging strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute the application packaging process within established SLA limits.
  • Manage and support customer environments built on Windows client operating systems, Active Directory Group Policy, Microsoft Defender, SoftwareCentral, and Microsoft Intune product family.
Qualifications

At least 4 years of experience in preparing applications for deployment on Windows Operating Systems, utilizing setup commands/scripting and repackaging/customizing using tooling like InstallShield and RayPack.

Required Skills
  • Thorough knowledge of MSI and MSIX packaging frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of Windows 11 and AD Group Policies.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of PowerShell Scripting and basic level VB scripting for automating application installations.
  • Operational knowledge of Microsoft Intune product family, focusing on application creation/integration and deployment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and logical reasoning skills.
  • Experience working in ITIL-based operations environments using ITSM toolsets like ServiceNow.
