Identity Security Specialist

The role involves designing and implementing identity and access management solutions using PingFederate, PingAccess, and related products. This includes developing and maintaining backend services in Java to support authentication and authorization workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create IAM solutions using PingFederate, PingAccess, and related products.
- Develop and maintain Java-based backend services for authentication and authorization.
- Integrate applications into SSO frameworks using SAML, OAuth2, and OIDC protocols.
- Craft customized PingFederate policies using OGNL expressions and undertake front-end customizations (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Collaborate with architects, security teams, and application owners to deliver secure identity solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex authentication and federation issues across environments.
- Support MFA, passwordless authentication (FIDO2/WebAuthn), and adaptive access strategies.
- Enhance and maintain access management platforms and federation infrastructure.
- Participate in IAM roadmap planning and architectural decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in IAM, with a focus on SSO and federation.
- Hands-on expertise with PingFederate, PingAccess, and other Ping Identity tools.
- Proficiency in Java development and scripting (PowerShell, Python).
- Deep understanding of identity protocols: SAML, OAuth2, OIDC.
- Experience with LDAP, Active Directory, SCIM.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and tools like Postman.
- Basic Linux administration and PKI (X.509 certificates).
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
