**Job Opportunity**

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT professional to join our team as a Backend Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend components and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and NodeJS.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience in Java technologies including Core Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS, MySQL database, Postgress database, NPM, Maven, VS Code, IntelliJ Idea, and GitHub. You will also be proficient in Agile methodology, DevOps, Security vulnerability management, and P&C Insurance domain knowledge.

 

As a Backend Developer, you will collaborate with frontend, data, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end digital solutions. You will design and implement RESTful and SOAP APIs for integration with frontend, third-party, and COTS platforms. Additionally, you will utilize batch processing tools (Control-M, JP1, Job Scheduler) for scheduled insurance operations and reporting.

 

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

 

  • 5-10 years of IT experience in Application Design, Development, Testing and Maintenance projects
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in Java technologies including Core Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS, MySQL database, Postgress database, NPM, Maven, VS Code, IntelliJ Idea, GitHub
  • JLPT N3 or N2 certified. Fluent in reading, writing, and conversing in Japanese with native speakers
