We are looking for an exceptional individual with a strong background in chemistry or biology, engineering, or a related field. Your expertise in installation, performance maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of scientific instrumentation will be invaluable to our organization. We also require excellent communication skills, a personal sense of integrity, and effective time management abilities.

In this role, you will work closely with our sales team to identify future business development opportunities and needs for service contract sales. You will also ensure compliance with customer regulations and maintain sound knowledge of our technology and customers' application demands.

Responsibilities:
  • Installation, performance maintenance, troubleshoot, and support of Waters' product suite (LC, HPLC/UPLC, Informatics)
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with external and internal customers
  • Manage customer expectations by communicating work performed and providing follow-up plans if needed
  • Ensure customer compliance regulations are followed
  • Demonstrate system-level training at customer sites
  • Manage service inventory according to Waters' policies
  • Issue daily field service reports to document work performed
  • Maintain sound knowledge regarding the technology and customers' application demands

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Chemistry or Biology, Engineering, or other science-related fields
  • At least 3 years of experience with installation, performance maintenance, troubleshooting, support, and/or end-user utilization of scientific instrumentation
  • Ability to perform effective system-level troubleshooting
  • Understanding of scientific software systems (CDS)
