Senior Software Engineer

As a key member of our technology team, you will play a vital role in the development and maintenance of our scalable and sustainable technology products and solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and testing new systems from the ground up with minimal support. They will also collaborate with local and partner teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.

  • Conform to quality standards by following industry best practices and adhering to company policies.
  • Identify performance issues and optimize solutions to improve overall system efficiency.
  • Apply knowledge of security coding practices and secure system fundamentals to protect against common vulnerabilities.
  • Lead end-to-end engineering for projects and problems of complex scope and impact within the practice area.
  • Ensure engineering teams meet production SLAs of applications/systems.

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in the practice area, including Java/Spring Boot, design patterns, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Postgres SQL, CD/CD, GitHub, Jenkins, Kafka, and Agile methodology.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture patterns and familiarity with synchronous/asynchronous processing and error handling patterns with Spring Boot.
  • Experience building web services and integrations with message-driven architecture.
