Intellectual Property Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Intellectual Property Professional to work on a wide range of trademark and patent matters.

As an IP Professional, you will have the opportunity to conduct thorough searches and prepare clear, well-structured reports, draft and review applications, and manage documentation and statutory forms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting trademark and patent searches, preparing detailed reports, and presenting findings to clients.
  • Drafting and reviewing trademark and patent applications for submission to relevant authorities.
  • Preparing responses to examination reports, oppositions, and counter-statements, as well as managing client portfolio records and docketing systems.
  • Coordinating with regulatory bodies, such as the Trade Marks Registry and Patent Office, to ensure timely submissions and compliance with regulations.
  • Providing excellent client communication, including drafting reports, updates, and advisories.

Requirements for this role include:

  • Strong understanding of trademark and patent law concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, intellectual property databases, and online filing platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage deadlines effectively.
  • Attention to detail, proactive approach, and eagerness to learn and contribute to team success.
