Senior Machining Software Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Machining Software Developer to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining advanced machining software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, write, test, and maintain CNC programs for a variety of machines.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining requirements.
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies.
  • Optimize existing programs for efficiency, accuracy, and cycle time reduction.
  • Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and other developers to troubleshoot and refine processes.

Qualifications:

  • Engineering graduate with B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Machining Software Developer (2-3 years preferred).
  • Proficiency with CAM software, programming languages, and operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of G-code, M-code, CNC machine operations, and machining processes.

Preferred Skills:

  • AlphaCAM
  • Solidworks
  • AutoCAD

This role requires strong knowledge of generating G-code, CAD/CAM software, tooling, and machining processes to ensure precision, efficiency, and quality in production.

The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
