Job Title:

  • Electrical Design Engineer
Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in electrical design for data centers and industrial projects.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparation and review of electrical design documents.
  • Creation of detailed drawings for field devices and cable conduit layouts.
  • Assistance in tender document preparation, including technical specifications, material requisition, and data sheets.
  • Review and evaluation of technical data sheets and shop drawings submitted by vendors/contractors.
  • Design reviews, participation in team meetings, and timely deliverables.
  • Coordination with other disciplines and construction teams to ensure proper installation according to design.
Requirements:

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • BE/B. Tech in Instrumentation/Electrical Engineering.
  • 8-10 years of experience in electrical design activities for data-center or industrial projects.
  • Familiarity with data center master plans and concepts.
  • Strong understanding of TIA-942-B Standard for Data Centers.
  • Knowledge of Indian and International codes for design.
  • Interdisciplinary coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in 3D engineering, review of 3D models using Navisworks, and knowledge of ELV codes and standards.

Software Competency:

  • Application of 3D review software like Navisworks.
  • Application of other supporting software like Bluebeam, Adobe Acrobat.
  • Competent user of MS Office 365: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
