Job Description

As a senior Python developer, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our team by leveraging your expertise in software development and technical leadership.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications using Python and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and deliver solutions that meet those needs.
  • Lead the implementation of complex projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to help them grow professionally.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our products and services.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation, including code comments, API documentation, and user manuals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Must have 5+ years of experience in Python programming, with a strong focus on software development and technical leadership.

  • Extensive experience in handling complex projects, with a proven track record of delivering results under tight deadlines.
  • Good leadership skills and ability to lead projects independently, making informed decisions and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Good analytical skills and proficiency in Web-based development technologies, including Flask, FastAPI, and related frameworks.
  • Expertise in Agile development methodology, with experience in Scrum or Kanban.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.
  • Strong knowledge in Design patterns, Security, Performance tuning, and App monitoring, with experience in implementing best practices.
  • Experience in API Design, security patterns, Microservices architecture, and building scalable, low-latency web applications.
  • Experience in building Python-based SDKs, with a focus on ease of use and maintainability.
  • Experience in Python-based ORM (Object Relational Mapper) frameworks, with knowledge of database design and optimization.
  • Knowledge in distributed in-memory systems, such as Redis, MemCache, GemFire, or similar.
  • Knowledge in SQL database and No-SQL database, with experience in database modeling and query optimization.
  • Understanding of building Production-grade applications using WSGI/ASGI frameworks, such as Gunicorn, Uvicorn, etc.
  • Experience with Jenkins, CICD pipeline, Logging framework, Splunk, ELK stack is good to have.
  • Knowledge and experience with virtualization and cloud platforms (Kubernetes, AWS, OpenShift, Docker Containers).
  • Familiarity with version control system such as Git.
  • Knowledge on developing test suites, application debugging skills.
