Geospatial AI Design Strategist

Job Title: Geospatial AI Design Strategist
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design strategy and user experience of our geospatial AI platform. This includes owning the design process, creating prototypes, and validating wireframes to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
Responsibilities:- Owning the design strategy and quarterly UX roadmap aligned to business and product goals
- Translating product requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma and Miro
- Defining and maintaining design systems, UI patterns, and style guides to ensure visual and functional consistency
- Partnering with Product Owners to convert epics and user stories into design deliverables with clear acceptance criteria
- Conducting end-to-end user research, including interviews, field visits, surveys, and usability testing
- Championing UX for rural contexts, vernacular flows, low-bandwidth/offline-first design, accessibility, and culturally relevant trust cues
- 5–8 years in UI/UX design, with at least 3 years designing for mobile-first products at scale
- Proven experience shipping rural customer-facing or mass-market apps with measurable adoption and engagement impact
- Hands-on experience conducting field research and usability testing with diverse user groups
- Expertise in Figma / Adobe XD, prototyping tools, and user research methodologies
