Piping Expert

As a piping engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of piping systems, ensuring they meet international quality standards. This involves developing schedules, estimating resources, and managing construction activities to meet approved contract specifications.

The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of piping specification, fabrication, and erection techniques, as well as experience in developing Piping Schedules. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with proficiency in piping and engineering standards such as ASME B31.3.

You will also be responsible for generating progress reports, monitoring subcontractor performance, and contributing to project evaluation. Effective communication and leadership skills are crucial in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Piping Schedules in line with master schedule releases
• Estimate resources and productivity improvements
• Manage construction activities and ensure adherence to approved contract specifications
• Generate regular progress reports and monitor subcontractor performance

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 5-20 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in Piping
• Strong understanding of Piping and Structure
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in piping and engineering standards, including ASME B31.3
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Proficiency in creating professional presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
