Job Title: Cloud Data Engineer

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Engineer to join our team at Bright-Matrix-Global. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain data acquisition pipelines for structured and unstructured data in GCP.
  • Build complex datasets based on business requirements using tools like Python, Data Flow, DataStream, and BigQuery.
  • Construct 'big data' pipeline architecture and identify opportunities for data acquisition via stakeholder collaboration.
  • Translate business needs to technical requirements and leverage DevOps practices to ensure reliability and scalability.
  • Use IAM roles, Policy Tags, and authorized views to secure data access and partition/retrieve content in Big Query.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in data engineering with 3-4 years of core GCP experience.
  • Strong understanding of GCP services, including DataFlow, DataStream, CDC, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
