AI Model Trainer

Day-to-day activities involve:

  • Designing and developing high-quality Python code to train and optimize AI models.
  • Benchmarking model performance through evaluations and analyzing results for improvement.
  • Utilizing knowledge of Python frameworks and libraries to create efficient solutions.
  • Evaluating and ranking AI model responses to user queries, ensuring alignment with predefined criteria.
  • Developing comprehensive explanations and rationales for evaluations, demonstrating expertise in reasoning and technical skills.
  • Leading efforts in Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT), including dataset creation and maintenance for task-specific requirements.
  • Collaborating with researchers and annotators on Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback (RLHF) and refining reward models.
  • Designing innovative evaluation strategies and processes to enhance the model's alignment with user needs and ethical guidelines.
  • Creating optimal responses to improve AI performance, emphasizing clarity, relevance, and technical accuracy.
Requirements

The ideal candidate has:

  • Strong experience with Python programming language concepts, including ownership, borrowing, and lifetimes.
  • Industry experience and knowledge of code quality, formatting, and best practices in software development.
  • Experience with Python's testing ecosystem, including unit, integration, and property-based testing.
  • Knowledge of multi-threading and asynchronous programming in Python.
  • Ability to work with architectural patterns and refactor code without introducing regressions.
  • Strong debugging skills, including fixing memory and concurrency issues.
  • Fluent written and verbal English communication skills.
