This is an expert-level position focusing on delivering exceptional cloud services to customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Combining expertise in Kubernetes with developing cloud-native applications using serverless and container technologies.
  • Building, managing, and optimizing large-scale Kubernetes clusters.
  • Working on cloud-agnostic Kubernetes deployments, including AKS, EKS, and private cloud deployments on VMware.
  • Leveraging serverless technologies to develop new intellectual property (IP).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from a reputable institute.
  • More than 12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and development roles.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing Kubernetes workloads, including building, hardening, and overseeing cloud-agnostic Kubernetes clusters.
  • Minimum of 5+ years working on microservices/containers/serverless/event-driven architectures.
  • Experience creating and managing production-scale Kubernetes clusters, with a deep understanding of Kubernetes networking, including Cilium, Azure CNI, Istio, etc.
  • Experience writing applications using Serverless technologies like Lambda, Functions.
  • Solid understanding of internal workings within Kubernetes clusters and experience upgrading/patching production-grade Kube clusters.
  • Performing application deployments on Kubernetes clusters, preferably using GitOps.
  • Managing Kubernetes classes of Kubernetes objects, ranging from storage, networking, secret management, etc.
  • Experience setting up observability for Kubernetes clusters.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Certifications such as CKA, CKAD, CKS, or vendor-specific certifications.
  • Public cloud administrator/architect certifications.
